Build your own guitar in a relaxed friendly environment

Learn to build your very own handmade acoustic, classical or electric guitar under professional, friendly and supportive guidance.

Personal or Group Tuition

Courses are run on a one-to-one or small group basis. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Sessions are run at your own pace and are individually tailored to your own experience and skill level.

My classes are more relaxed than some other guitar building courses that run over a fixed time and have larger groups.

Sessions are £20 per hour, typically students work for between 3 and 5 hours but the duration is up to you.

Remember, you can also be working on your guitar at home, between sessions.

Specialist tools and equipment provided. Materials are extra but guidance can be given when choosing tone-woods.

A guitar will take around 120 hours to build from start to finish.

Some previous woodworking experience would be beneficial, but by no means essential.
